Virtual Event: Masc Ally Month: Still Sorry: Apology Lab – May 26
Posted by Gender Justice Fund on May 17, 2022
Masc Ally Month is a partnership between Gender Justice Fund and the Masculinity Action Project at Lutheran Settlement House designed to engage and equip men and masculine-identified individuals to become allies for gender justice, specifically here in the Philly region.
There are a million ways to apologize, but they don’t always come out the right way. We will start by going over the different apology frameworks including: acknowledging the harm, recognition of harm done, realizing the impact, and action to prevent harm in the future. Bring your own experiences of apologizing and think about where you felt it was an effective apology and where you could do better.
Date and Time: Thursday, May 26, 6:30 – 8:30- PM
