Virtual Event: 2022 Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios – Jan 24
Posted by American Association of Colleges & Universities on November 30, 2021
Registration is now open for the 2022 Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios, Quality, Equity, Affordability and Access: Preparing for the Future of Higher Education and Our Democracy on Monday, January 24, 2022. This is a virtual event.
It is important for the future of our democracy, higher education, and our students that quality, equity, affordability, and access be central among the goals of new methods of instruction. The American Association of Colleges & Universities (AAC&U) Annual Forum on Open Learning and ePortfolios is being reframed this year with these goals and intersections in mind. This event will offer interactive concurrent sessions and workshop opportunities for participants to share evidence and best practices regarding how ePortfolios, open learning, and open educational resources are being leveraged in the service of student learning, student agency, and student success. Plenary speakers will include Pablo Avila, associate director of ePortfolio and digital learning at LaGuardia Community College; Steve Ehrmann, higher education author and consultant; and Traci Morris, executive director of the American Indian Policy Institute at Arizona State University.
