It intersects with many other crucial social issues including public health, race, gender, economic equity, environmentalism, LGBTQ and faith. By understanding the intersections between immigration and other urgent causes, immigrant- and refugee-serving organizations and their allies can cultivate diverse coalitions of long-term support across historical boundaries.
