Virtual Community Meeting: How Can We Protect Our Children from Hurting Themselves with Guns? – Feb 4
Posted by West Philadelphia Promise Zone on February 2, 2021
Every year, thousands of children across this country are killed or injured because they handled a gun that they found, either in their home or in the neighborhood. With the massive increase in the number of firearms on the streets of West Philadelphia, this is a growing problem that will continue to threaten our youth.
Join us for a community meeting to learn more about this important issue. Researchers from CHOP PolicyLab will share a presentation on Preventing Unintentional Firearm Injury & Death Among Youth: Examining the Evidence. You will have a chance to ask questions and learn what actions you can take to protect your loved ones from harm.
Date and Time: Thursday, February 4, 2020, 6:00pm-7:30pm
