PCCY Participates in Town Hall Meeting On Philadelphia’s Education Crisis
PCCY was Clear Channel’s co-producer for its live “Digital Town Hall Meeting” discussing the public school funding debacle in Philadelphia. Clear Channel provided the platform, carrying the meeting on the web site and cross promoting it across their five local radio stations. Advocates including PCCY’s Executive Director, Donna Cooper and our Education Policy Co-Director Shanee Garner explained the condition of the district, the responsibilities of state and local government and the steps parents and concerned citizens must make to end the school funding crisis in the state.
