Job description
The Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia is the only organization in Philadelphia whose mission is to reduce the cycle of violence by providing interention, prevention, and support programs. The Victim Service Program Director is responsible for the daily operations of the program and provides and supervises direct services to victims of crime and co-victims of homicide via telephone and in court. All duties are carried out in accordance with the standards set forth by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) for Comprehensive Victim Service Center Programs.
A Bachelors degree in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is required. A Masters degree in Social Work or related field is preferred. Must have interest in providing direct service to crime victims. Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills. Supervisory experience is preferred.
