The Vice President, School-Based Programming (VP of Schools) ensures ongoing programmatic excellence and the most optimal outcomes for students and partners. With strategic and operational responsibility for school-based programming across a range of public schools in the School District of Philadelphia, the VP will create the strategy, steward relationships with partner schools, and develop the innovations necessary for comprehensively supporting our students
The VP of Schools will lead a layered and distributed team of program staff, building their capacity to effectively implement programmatic initiatives, assess and address implementation challenges, and define strategies that increase student engagement, educational attainment, career exposure and readiness. They will do this through oversight of system design, training and professional development, and data-driven program management, cultivating a supportive, yet effective management culture.
Reporting to the Co-President & CEO and collaborating closely with the VP of College and Career Pathways and VP of Program Strategy and Partnerships, the School Programming Leader will play a critical role in driving action toward a student-centered, inclusive and realizable System Change agenda that advances education and career outcomes for young people in Philadelphia.
