Other Opportunities

Mailchimp Volunteer
Looking for a volunteer to create and send our Upcoming Events Newsletters utilizing Mailchimp. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking for a “light” time commitment, as the newsletters are typically sent every three weeks.

Web Page Designer
Looking for a volunteer with WordPress and design experience to create a web page for us. We have all of the information needed for the page, just need someone to put together in a visually pleasing way consistent with the look of our website.

Salesforce Expertise
Looking for a volunteer with experience in integrating Salesforce with any of the following: MailChimp, WordPress, or Eventbrite.

TechShop Testers!
Looking for volunteers to help us ensure our lesson plans have enough details for new volunteers to use with ease. Volunteers will choose a topic they have some background knowledge on, but are *not* an expert in. They will run through (‘test’) the lesson plan at home and complete all student activities listed. Lastly, they will make note and notify us of any areas they had difficultly following or where more direction is needed.

Join our Social Committee
Looking for volunteers to join our newly formed Social Committee. This committee would attend MeetUps, Local Happy Hours, and different events to socialize with other technology professionals. Through these connections, the volunteer will spread the word about TechGirlz. Any potential leads will be reported back to TechGirlz.

Volunteer to run a workshop at your local library, in you company meeting room, or in a new city TechGirlz has reached a huge milestone, 10000 girls have participated in a TechShop! Help us get to our next milestone – 20,000 girls by 2020. Whether it is one TechShopz or 10, your time will make a difference in a girl’s life. We are here to support you and answer any questions. Please reach out!
