Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement & Volunteer Service now recruiting 2014-2015 SERVE Philadelphia VISTAs for our November Cohort

Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service is accepting applications for 6 SERVE Philadelphia 2014-2015 AmeriCorps VISTA members for our November Cohort, to serve for a period of one year on projects designed to impact community engagement, workforce development, educational attainment, youth violence and access to summer meals.

Applications are being accepted for the positions listed below.

November 21st Start Date (NOVEMBER COHORT):

· PowerCorps PHL Communications Coordinator for the Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement & Volunteer Service

· Project Manager for Youth Violence Prevention Employment & Training Initiatives for the Mayor’s Office

· Focused Deterrence Social Services Coordinator for the Office of Public Safety

· College Access Volunteer Coordinator for Philadelphia Education Fund/Mayor’s Office of Education

· Partner Engagement Coordinator, Philadelphia Food Access Collaborative for the Mayor’s Office of Community Empowerment & Opportunity

· Fun, Safe Philly Summer Coordinator for the Mayor’s Office of Policy Planning & Coordination
