I wanted to let you know about four free workshops that TechGirlz is running in your area in the coming weeks:
Introduction to JavaScript 2/3/2018 at Launch Academy (1701 Walnut Street, 8th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103) on February 3rd 10:00AM to 12:30PM- Students will learn the basics of JavaScript.

Newsroom Story Production 2/13/2018 at PSTV (440 N Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19130) on February 13th 6:00PM to 8:30PM- Learn how to produce great stories the same way collaborative newsrooms work (pre-production, production and post-production)

Make A Website Using HTML/CSS 2/14/2018 at Roxborough Library (6245 Ridge Ave Philadelphia, PA 19128) on February 14th 4:00PM to 5:30PM- Students will learn the elements of HTML and CSS, and use them to create a website.

3D Jewelry Design With Tinkercad & 3D Manufacturing 2/17/2018 at Lucien E. Blackwell Library (125 S 52nd Street Philadelphia, PA 19139) on February 17th 11:00AM to 2:00PM- Learn the basics of 3D modeling and the different types of 3D modeling software.

TechGirlz is a non-profit that provides free, hands-on technology workshops for middle school girls. We want to inspire girls to explore the possibilities of technology and hope to eventually lessen the gender disparity in the tech professions. We love providing extra STEM activities to the students in Philadelphia.
