Marketing and Communications Manager

The MCM will oversee ECS? electronic marketing and branding efforts including supervision of the website, its design and maintenance. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in English, Journalism or related field desired with two to three years of Public Relations experience. Qualified candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of MS Word and Publisher. Knowledge of Website publishing, design and maintenance is required. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are a must.
Executive Assistant

The position requires a high degree of professionalism and efficiency, reporting directly to the Executive Director. Bachelor’s degree desired with five to ten years of administrative or office management experience. Qualified candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Windows XP and the ability to type at least 50 words per minute. Security/Porter – ECS St. Barnabas

Security/Porters are needed at ECS St. Barnabas Mission to monitor front desk, screen visitors; maintain in/out logs; secure facility, and assist with housekeeping as necessary. Full-time position available (11:00PM – 7:00AM); $8.00 per hour ($8.50 weekends). Minimum requirements are as follows: Two years security experience; security enforcement program certification; High School diploma; and a valid PA Driver’s License. Candidates should also possess excellent people skills and the ability to lift 50-75lbs. Knowledge of shelter/OESS regulations helpful but not necessary. EOE

Must have the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, have empathy for the homeless and a willingness to work various shifts and weekends. Computer literacy is highly desired.
