Project Coordinator – Seeking a project Coor. that can organize community volunteers interested in improving neighborhood parks. Coordinate physical improvement projects educational & recreational activities. Must have community organizing skills; basic knowledge of urban horticulture; ability to support group development & a keen interest in working with parks & people. BA/BS in related field or equivalent exp.
(2)Project Coordinator – Coordinates & implements horticultural & open space improvement activities in Philadelphia neighborhoods working with community groups. Organizes educational workshops. Exp. in community organizing & knowledge of Philadelphia?s neighborhoods preferred. BA/BS in related field or equivalent exp. Formal training in landscape construction, horticulture or urban planning a plus. Spanish language skills preferred for one position. . Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel), valid drivers license req.
Project Manager – Creative, energetic, well-organized Landscape architect for managing & oversee design & implementation of parks & gardens in Philadelphia?s neighborhoods. Exp. with managing landscape design & construction projects req. Will be responsible for community engagement process, developing design, preparing bid packages & monitoring contractors. High quality presentation & graphic skills req. Exp. with staff supervision is req. Auto-Cad proficient, BSLA with four years exp. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel), & valid drivers license req.
Landscape Designer ? Energetic, well-organized landscape designer for conducting site surveys, designing, & implementing greening projects throughout the city. Two years of Landscape design & construction skills & contract monitoring exp. req. Highly proficient in Auto-Cad. Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) and valid drivers license req.
