Media Mobilizing Project Is Now Hiring
As part of our mission to build the media and communications infrastructure of a movement to end poverty led by poor and working people, Media Mobilizing Project is beginning a new and exciting phase in our work. With our new Computer Center Network and expanded Community Journalism and Media Training Programs, MMP will establish six computer centers at community organizations throughout Philadelphia and train thousands in digital literacy and media production.
To complete this work we are looking to build on our existing team of organizers and media trainers. We are hiring both full-time and part-time Media Educators, Computer Center Site Organizers, and Program Coordinators. We are opening our first round of hiring, and look to bring on new staff to play key roles in implementing this project in early 2011.
Below are job descriptions for five new positions. If you would like to be considered in the first round of hires, please get your applications in by Tuesday, November 23rd; however, we will be accepting applications until all roles are filled. We expect the first round of start dates as early as January 3rd. If you have questions about positions, please email jobs ‘at’ mediamobilizing.org.
