The Educational Equity Center at AED would like to inform you of the updated Science, Gender and Afterschool website. Programs/curriculum, websites for girls, and general resources have been added and previously posted resources have been refreshed.
The SGA Community of Practice is an interactive forum for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers eager to strengthen the role of afterschool education in increasing girls’ participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and careers. This site provides resource materials and on-going conversations around the following themes: Access, Recruitment and Persistence
Program Content, Approaches and Strategies
Staffing and Professional Development
We encourage you to take a look at the newly invigorated site and suggest your program as a resource.
