University Partners Meeting: Truancy and Absenteeism, Preventative Programs

Location: School District of Philadelphia, 440 N. Broad Street
The Office Of Truancy and Absenteeism will present on programs and strategies being implemented in the School District that support youth in getting to school on time and ready to learn. The discussion will focus on school and social-emotional supports such as Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS). This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about these programs and how to support their efforts.
Current presenters include:
- Rachel Holtzman, Deputy Chief of Attendance at the School District of Philadelphia
- Jody Greenblat, Stoneleigh Fellow, School Reform Commission at the School District of Philadelphia
- Ethan Copperman, PHENND VISTA at the Office of Attendance and Truancy
