University City Green Spring Tree Planting – Apr 24

Calling all volunteers! Join UC Green in planting 45 new trees for neighbors on Saturday, April 24, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. We are looking for spirited volunteers to plant street trees with us. Covid 19 safety procedures will be implemented for safety. Masks are required.
Volunteers are asked to meet at 5100 Pine Street in Malcolm X Park. You will be assigned a small team and asked to move along to your loading location where you will be joined by your planting leader, load tools and trees and move out to plant 4-5 trees in the neighborhood!
UC Green is especially seeking the following:
- Experienced tree planters willing to serve as Leaders
- Volunteers with trucks to load tools and trees
- Logistics volunteers available to assist in directing volunteers and leaders
