Unity Rally: Standing United Against Gun Violence, Asian Hate and Crime – May 12
Posted by Office of Councilman David Oh on May 11, 2021
Amid skyrocketing gun violence, crime, and a wave of anti-Asian hate, civic and community leaders from all backgrounds will join together for a rally in Chinatown to call for public safety and immediate action by city leadership.
The rally will feature elected officials, grassroots community leaders, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw, Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal, AARP VP of Asian American and Pacific Islander Strategy Daphne Kwok and 6ABC’s Nydia Han, and many others, standing together in unity against hate and violence. Our goal is to unify communities and government in pursuit of a shared goal of a safer and more vibrant Philadelphia.
Date and Time: Wednesday, May 12, 2021, 4:00-6:00 PM
Location: 10th and Arch Street (Friendship Gate), Philadelphia, PA 19107
