United Way of Pennsylvania: Connect-PA Initiative (Digital Equity Resources)

Posted by United Way of Pennsylvania on July 7, 2026

As part of Connect-PA, a statewide initiative led by the United Way of Pennsylvania, we are working to build the most complete and accessible directory of digital equity resources in the Commonwealth. We encourage all organizations providing digital equity services (including internet affordability programs, device distribution, digital skills training, digital navigation, tech support, telehealth assistance, and related services) to ensure their programs are listed and up to date in PA 211. Connect-PA relies on PA 211 data to help residents find local resources, strengthen coordination among service providers, and demonstrate the impact of digital equity investments across Pennsylvania.

If your organization is not currently listed, or if your information needs updating, please take a few minutes to add or update your program through PA 211’s Agency Partner portal: Agency Partners – PA 211. Every listing helps create a more accurate picture of the support available to Pennsylvanians and strengthens our collective efforts to close the digital divide.

Beyond the resource directory, Connect-PA serves as Pennsylvania’s digital equity collaboration hub. Through Connect-PA, residents can find local digital equity resources and support, organizations can connect with statewide partners and working groups, and policymakers and funders can access data, stories, and research that demonstrate both the need for and impact of digital inclusion investments. We are also actively collecting stories that highlight how broadband access, devices, digital skills, and community support are changing lives across Pennsylvania. In many cases, individuals who share their stories may be eligible for compensation for their time and participation. If your organization has a success story to share, would like to contribute resources, join a working group, or explore other ways to support this collaborative effort, please contact Shambhavi Punjala at spunjala@uwp.org or (630) 259-0504. We welcome partners of all sizes and believe that building digital equity in Pennsylvania requires a coordinated, community-driven approach.
