Unite for Sight: Looking for Replication
Posted by on August 1, 2003
Unite for Sight, a member of the National Healthy Vision 2010 Consortium, is dedicated to preventing blindness through free community vision screenings and health education for medically underserved children and adults in soup kitchens, schools and libraries. Unite For Sight also offers additional services to serve the community’s health needs.
Unite For Sight has been very successful in New Haven, Connecticut, and is devoting the next year to nationally expanding the organization.
Unite For Sight is initiating chapters at universities throughout the country, and would very much appreciate identifing Philadelphia Area university students who may be interested in starting a Unite For Sight chapter.
