UBA opens fall funding cycle
Funding is available from the Union Benevolent Association (UBA) to support 501c3 nonprofits that serve Philadelphia’s needy elderly and children.
UBA also supports projects for low-income individuals and communities, people with disabilities, vulnerable populations, and people who are disenfranchised. Programs to combat poverty, increase employment, further education and improve health within these populations are of special interest.
Grants from $1,000 to $5,000 are available to support projects and general operating costs for organizations with budgets below $2 million. Grants may not support capital renovations, major building campaigns or endowments. The deadline for the next funding cycle is September 30th.
