Young Futures, Center for Digital Thriving invite applications for Under Pressure Funding Challenge

In collaboration with the Center for Digital Thriving, Young Futures invites applications for Under Pressure, a funding challenge calling for solutions that alleviate the pressures teens and preteens face in navigating today’s tech-driven world. This $1 million open funding call aims to fund and provide catalytic support for 10 solutions designed to address digital tension and help young people thrive.

Eligible solutions may include tech-driven platforms, in-person or online programs, or hybrid approaches that benefit both youth and the trusted adults in their lives. There is a particular interest in organizations that directly address digital tension, meet youth where they are, demonstrate proven impact, and support positive youth development.

Grant recipients will be selected as the next cohort of Young Futures (YF Innovators) and participate in the Young Futures Academy (YF Academy), a five-month program designed to help leaders level up their organizations and make an even bigger impact. The YF Academy is focused on fostering community and features a curriculum built around leadership, fundraising and revenue generation, storytelling and communication, and subject-matter expertise.

Young Futures anticipates awarding one-year grants of awards varied based on scope to up to 10 organizations for a total of up to $1 million.

To be eligible, applicants must be based in the United States and registered as tax-exempt as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or tax-exempt status under fiscal sponsorship.

Applicants are invited to complete a short quiz on the Young Futures website to determine eligibility, and eligible applicants will be directed to the grant seeker portal.

For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Young Futures website.

Deadline: October 1, 2024
