UChicago’s Urban Portal
Posted by on July 25, 2011
The University of Chicago has been working to create a resource to make it easier for scholars and others interested in urban social science to learn about new studies, find data sources, and learn about upcoming conferences or other events. The Urban Portal (http://urbanportal.org), is a site containing a rapidly increasing and continuously updated set of resources for researchers, policy makers, journalists, and the general public. Please check it out and send comments, suggestions, or information we should post. We especially hope to use the site to help urbanists disseminate their work (whether it’s theoretical, methodological, or substantive). We are eager to make the site useful, timely, and comprehensive, so please send your thoughts by following the feedback links or emailing urban@uchicago.edu.
