Tutors needed, YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School
Posted by on October 12, 2009
YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School is looking for dedicated volunteers to donate at least one hour each week to tutor high school students. This after school tutoring program will assist YouthBuild Philadelphia in its mission to provide out-of-school youth in Philadelphia with the broadest range of tools, supports and opportunities available to become self-sufficient, responsible and productive citizens in their community. Students earn their high school diplomas while learning valuable job skills and engaging in community service projects. Play a part as YouthBuild Philadelphia rebuilds lives and communities!
Support is provided through the Volunteer Coordinator as well as academic staff.
To become involved, please call Lauren Fitzgerald, Volunteer Coordinator at (215) 627 – 8671 ext. 51 or e-mail at [email protected].
More information about the program may be found at http://www.youthbuildphilly.org.
