Tutors needed, Mighty Writers

As the new school year begins, Mighty Writers is once again looking for thoughtful, dedicated tutors for our kids’ writing center in south Center City/South Philly. Tutor responsibilities include the following:
Show up on time during agreed upon hours (2-12 hours/week)
Work with students in grades 2-8 on homework (all subjects)
Guide students in the completion of one writing project every two weeks
Motivate students to create original writing based on writing prompts
Give critical feedback and guide students in the revision process
