New Opportunity To Volunteer At Hopeworks
Hopeworks is looking for tutors for our Day Trainee (4th-10th grade reading levels) and Hope Through School (8th-12th graders) programs. All of our trainees receive one on one instruction in reading, writing and mathematics. We are looking for volunteers to augment our program. Available hours are Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday 3:30-4:30 or 4:00-5:00. Monday- Friday 9:00-10:00, 10:00- 11:00 or 11:00- 12:00. Volunteers need to be patient and consistent. Prior experience teaching or tutoring would be ideal. However, the most important requirement is a desire to help a younger person achieve their academic goals.
