Tutors needed, ACHIEVEability
Posted by ACHIEVEability on September 8, 2015
ACHIEVEability permanently breaks the generational cycle of poverty for low income, single parent, and homeless families through higher education, affordable housing, supportive services, community and economic development, and accountability.
Tutors help parents with college assignments or children with homework and improvement of basic skills. Volunteers will tutor one hour weekly for the duration of a semester. Typical tutoring hours for ACHIEVEability parents and children are between 3 PM and 7 PM on weekdays, but the tutor’s schedule depends on which parent/child they are matched with.
