2026 will mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a major milestone for democracy in the United States.
In recognition, Monticello has launched the Declaration Book Club: a free three-part reading and discussion toolkit designed to help readers dive into the Declaration’s history, meaning, and evolving impact.
