Family engagement project seeking community partners
Turning Points for Children is currently seeking individuals to participate as Community Based Partners in the Investing in Family Engagement project that will take place this fall in 30 public schools in the School District of Philadelphia.
The goal of the project is to change school climate by engaging the families of kindergarten students using the nationally recognized evidence-based Families and Schools Together program. The program will be implemented in selected schools to measure the impact that this program can have in the lives of families, student outcomes and on the School District of Philadelphia public schools as a whole. Teachers, parents and professionals in the community will collaborate to run these programs.
