True Hero Grants
Posted by on October 21, 2013
True Hero, Inc. recognizes students and schools for doing good work in their communities and beyond via student service projects. If there is a club, group or organization at your school that is doing service work, check out http://www.truehero.org to post information about the service project. A total of $15,000 in grants will be given away June 30, 2014 to allow schools to fund school service projects.
How to obtain grant money:
1) Go to http://www.truehero.org and post a project. All you need is a short paragraph/description.
2) GET VOTES for your service project:
Send out an email blast to all your friends, family, faculty, students and parents, and encourage them to vote for your project and pass it along via email, social media, etc.
3) Come June 30th, grants will be awarded to the top vote getters.
Awards are granted to those student community service projects receiving the most eligible votes from the general public during the current school year. If you have any questions, please contact Amanda at [email protected]. Our goal is to spread the word about all the good work kids can do!
