TreeVitalize Neighborhood Tree Planting
Saturday, April 21, 10 am ? l pm
Meeting location: Meet at 4100 Market St in Elwyn parking lot; one block west of Market El 40th St. stop
UC Green volunteers and neighbors with local Tree Tenders will plant 45 trees along the busy Market Street corridor in West Philadelphia. Volunteers are needed. All plantings are rain or shine. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Project organizers will provide gloves and tools. Large trees are 10 to 14 foot tall trees with soil ball that weigh 200+ lbs and are planted in 3-4 person teams. For more information, contact Winnie Harris at wharris@ucgreen.org or (215) 573-4684
