TreeVitalize Neighborhood Tree Planting
Saturday, April 28, 9 am ? 1 pm
Meeting location: Ward Park, 24th and Aspen Streets
Fairmount Tree Tenders, together with neighbors and others will plant 36 trees in this city neighborhood with community support. Volunteers are needed. All plantings are rain or shine. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Project organizers will provide gloves and tools. Large trees are 10 to 14 foot tall trees with soil ball that weigh 200+ lbs and are planted in 3-4 person teams. For more information, contact Roland Reed, Fairmountzoo@aol.com or (267) 252-9325
