Tree Planting: Tacony

TreeVitalize Neighborhood Tree Planting
Saturday, April 21, 9 am ? l pm
Meeting location: 6900 block of Keystone Street, Longshore and Keystone Streets
Local tree tenders, neighbors and other volunteers will plant 19 trees in Tacony and Disston Park with community support. Volunteers are needed. All plantings are rain or shine. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Project organizers will provide gloves and tools. Large trees are 10 to 14 foot tall trees with soil ball that weigh 200+ lbs and are planted in 3-4 person teams.
