COME A NOVICE, LEAVE A LEADER!
Join us for a Tree Planting leaders workshop! PHS’s Tree Tenders is offering a short demonstration and workshop on planting and caring for Bare root Trees, working with volunteers, safety issues and more. This is for anyone who wants to learn how to supervise other volunteers at a bare root community tree planting this Spring.
1000 Bare root trees will be planted across the city the weekend of April 24/25 and trained volunteers are needed. You need not be a Tree Tender graduate to attend.
6:00 – 7:30 pm, Wednesday, April 14th , PHS Council room, 5th floor, 100 N. 20th Street (20th and Arch)
Please RSVP to Mindy Maslin, PHS Tree Tenders, (215) 988-8844 or mmaslin@pennhort.org
