For Philly Tech Week, the Technology Learning Collaborative (TLC) is partnering with Hopeworks to host Transforming the Digital Workforce from the Ground Up, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, 4:00-6:00 PM, at Hopeworks Kensington, 3400 J Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134
Join TLC and Hopeworks for an interactive discussion of workforce development in the digital equity field. TLC brings together organizations and individuals working to advance digital equity with the belief that everyone deserves quality internet access, a device that meets their needs, and the digital skills necessary to accomplish their goals. At this meetup, attendees will learn about Hopeworks’ innovative tech training model that propels young adults into long-term living wage careers that put them on the path for healing and financial stability.
We’ll start with tours of Hopeworks’ facility and networking time, followed by a panel discussion about workforce development and digital equity. Whether you work in the digital equity field, or work in tech and want to learn more about how to support equity efforts, this event is for you!
