Institutional and content-based teams will gain insight in the use of technology to support assessment by learning hands-on how to develop a reflective electronic portfolio. The development of the reflective electronic portfolio will be conducted in five phases. A prerequisite for participation in the hands on demonstrations is familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite to include: Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. CD-ROMs will be used to store the final product
Participants are encouraged to review their institutional missions and educational/program goals to determine how service learning and information literacy would improve learning and community outreach and enhance institutional effectiveness.
