Posted by The Blue Door Group on February 19, 2019
Dates and Times: March 19-20, 21-22, and 25-26, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Temple University Center City, 1515 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19102
Build greater authenticity and trust when leading diverse groups. Figure out what’s getting in the way of real communication across race, class, gender, and other social identity differences. In this approach to dialogue, we work on getting at what we really feel about our and others’ identity/ies – instead of what we believe we’re supposed to feel. By participating in dialogues and reflecting on the process for engaging in dialogue, we uncover our obstacles to authentic connection – so that we can support people around us in doing the same.
This training is relevant for educators, managers, and leaders of diverse groups. Transformational Intergroup Dialogue Facilitation is a training offered over three separate, sequential workshops. Each workshop is offered over two consecutive days.
