Training for Senior Centers

Training offered to area senior centers
The Pennsylvania Association of Senior Centers has scheduled several trainings for senior centers in the southeastern Pennsylvania region for November and December.
A workshop on Programming for Older Adults will be held on Wednesday, November 10th from 9-4:30pm, focusing on diversity and multiple population groups, best practices, building collaborations and partnerships, and financial aspects.
On Thursday, November 11th,from 9am to 4:30pm, The Physiology of Aging will cover normal changes vs. the pathology of aging, acute and chronic diseases, health and wellness, nutrition, and pharmacology.
The location of all classes is PennStateAbington@611, Abington Towne Center, 1475 Old York Road/Route 611 in Abington, near the lower level Target store.
