Posted by PAR-Recycle Works on April 11, 2023
PAR–Recycle Works, a 501(c)(3) not–for–profit organization, is a social enterprise offering environmentally responsible recycling services while providing life–changing jobs, workforce training and reentry support to formerly incarcerated individuals.
Background
PAR has two parts: 1 – PAR runs an e–waste recycling business which serves environmental sustainability goals and gives its Program Participants transitional “green jobs” and immediate income. 2 – PAR provides job skills training & development and (full–time, main–stream) job placement programming, which has evolved over the past few years under the oversight of board members and volunteers.
Now, as a long–term solution, PAR will make an investment in a new, full–time, key staff position Training, Development and Job Placement Coordinator, with a candidate who already has skills and experience needed to do the job immediately.
Position Overview
The Training, Development and Job Coordinator will report to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be an enjoyable, creative problem–solver and a mission–driven self–starter. In addition to fulfilling the job qualifications will also understand how his/ her goals advance the overall goals and objectives of PAR. He/She sees what needs to be done and can work within a team environment to accomplish the team’s goals.
