Toolkit for Your Next Discussion on Conflict and Peacebuilding
Posted by Pulitzer Center for Education on August 6, 2019
Conflict takes place everywhere around the world. How can journalists cover its many facets responsibly? Whose stories do we see, and whose do we miss? Where can we find vital stories of peacebuilding?
We’ve compiled ten under-reported stories on conflict and peacebuilding that you might have missed this year. They highlight diverse causes and consequences of conflict, as well as the people working toward peace and reconciliation. Designed to support you in carrying these stories into the classroom, this guide includes essential questions, appropriate grade levels, and related lesson plans for the stories within.
