Toolkit for the Evaluation of Service-Learning Programs
Posted by on January 29, 2012
From 2008 through 2010, Abt Associates and its partners, RMC Research Corporation and Dillon-Goodson Research Associates, were involved in designing NELSAP: National Evaluation of School-based Learn and Serve America Programs.
The products that were developed for the study are now available as the Toolkit for the Evaluation of Service-Learning Programs, in the hopes that other researchers will benefit from and build on the work that went into NELSAP. The toolkit is divided into four parts: general evaluation guidelines for service-learning; developing a rigorous evaluation for service-learning; design instruments and recruitment materials from the national evaluation; and an annotated bibliography based on literature reviews conducted for the national evaluation.
The Toolkit for the Evaluation of Service-Learning Programs is available as a free download at the NSLC website: http://www.servicelearning.org/library/resource/9624
