Three Youth Court Implementation and Enhancement Trianings Announced by OJJDP, NHTSA and the National Youth Court Center.
The National Youth Court Center, which is funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in collaboration with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, will conduct three training seminars designed to help jurisdictions develop and operate effective youth court programs.
The seminars, which are designed for educators, juvenile justice system professionals, youth court coordinators, and others interested in establishing or strengthening local youth courts are scheduled for May 17-19, 2004, in Philadelphia, PA; July 12-14, 2004, in Louisville, KY; and September 27-29, 2004, in Portland, OR.
The application deadlines are April 9 (Philadelphia), June 2 (Louisville), and August 20, 2004 (Portland). As space is limited, early registration is recommended.
