Third Annual 1619 Project Education Conference (Virtual) – Feb 17-18
Posted by Pulitzer Center on December 5, 2023
We are thrilled to invite you to join us February 17-18, 2024 for the Pulitzer Center’s third annual 1619 Project Education Conference. During this virtual, two-day event, participants will learn more about #Teaching1619 and how students are connecting to and feeling empowered by The 1619 Project.
The conference will continue the work of the Pulitzer Center’s 1619 programs and initiatives by uniting educators to explore curricular resources inspired by The 1619 Project and illuminate the project’s themes through workshops and contributor keynotes. From K-12 classrooms, colleges, and universities to libraries and out-of-school time programs, the project supports a diverse network of education spaces. We’re excited to welcome anyone excited about leveraging 1619 for student empowerment to join us this February.
