The Youth Urban Renewal Arts Program Seeks Lead Teacher

The Youth Urban Renewal Arts Program (YoUth RAP), is an after-school program dedicated the helping youth ages 9-14 find their civic voice through artistic works. Through a series of lessons, activities, and trips students are introduced to how they can make changes to their neighborhood, impact local government and define what their duties and rights are as citizens.

We are looking for a lead teacher at one of our sites in the Northeast. The lead teacher must be a self-starter and be able to work very independently, but also must be able to meet with supervision and grant requirements. Also, we desire someone who is socially invested, creative and has an excellent reputation with children.

This position is part-time during the school year and full time during the summer. There is a generous vacation schedule. This is a salary position and it offers full health benefits.
