Introduce Your First-Gen, Lower-Income Students to Top Colleges with The TalentED Project
The TalentED Project is a new, free digital platform that connects college access and admissions professionals to match first-generation, lower-income college-goers with top institutions that are a good fit for them. On TalentED, professionals help students create dynamic, personalized profiles and storyboards that show off their unique strengths and talents. These online profiles help increase students’ visibility with admissions recruiters as they apply to colleges now and throughout the fall.

NCAN members know that the college search process for these students can be overwhelming, and for those who do attend college, a disproportionate number select an institution that doesn’t match their academic ability and ultimately face challenges in persisting and graduating. At the same time, most colleges want to enroll these high-potential students, but struggle to identify them during recruitment efforts.
