The Second Annual West Philly Children’s Festival
Sunday, May 1st
11-3 at Clark Park (43rd and Chester)
– Volunteers from the Penn medical, dental, and nursing schools will be teaching kids about health and safety issues.
– There will be free fruit and vegetables provided by Urban Nutrition Initiative.
– Neighborhood Bike Works will be doing bike safety checks.
– The Mummers will be performing.
– The Philadelphia Fire Department will be sending over a fire truck along with firefighters to educate children about fire safety.
– There will be a moonbounce along with games and activities for kids to play.
