The recent passage of the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act resulted in the most sweeping expansion of national service in a generation. As the Corporation for National and Community Service confront the social impact focus areas identified in the Serve America Act, service programs across the country are being called on to address these issues of national priority.
Whether you are a novice or experienced with service-learning, knowing key processes will help you guide students toward best outcomes in these areas. Join us to obtain essential information that can help students achieve measurable outcomes to address the national priorities: Education, Healthy Futures, Environmental Stewardship, Veterans, Opportunity, and Disaster Services.
During this one-hour webinar, take a tour of the revised second edition of The Complete Guide to Service Learning: Proven, Practical Ways to Engage Students in Civic Responsibility, Academic Curriculum & Social Action with author and international service-learning expert Cathryn Berger Kaye.
