Aging is often thought of as a negative process, however there are important benefits that are
largely uncelebrated. We will explore the privilege of aging and ways to do it well through a series
of presentations by Drexel Students. Through the workshop we will understand
· the basic underlying structure and function of selected organ systems
· the basics of the normal changes associated with the process of aging in these organ systems
· that aging is a privilege and that we should be respect the privilege we have been given by being careful to protect ourselves through the process
· the basics of the ways we can protect our privilege
