The Listen Up contest
Posted by on April 23, 2012
The Listen Up contest is to give young people an opportunity to share their opinions and feelings about what a healthy relationship looks like. To honor the voices and thoughts of young people as they struggle to make sense of domestic violence and strive for peaceful relationships. All High School, Junior High School and homeless young people are invited to submit a website, a video, a podcast, a social media page, photography, or digital art on the topic of healthy relationships. All entries become the property of the Lutheran Settlement House. Entries should be emailed to Nelson Troché, [email protected] by 5pm on May 25, 2012. 1st Place Prizes is $100, 2nd Place Prizes is $ 75 and Third Place Prizes is $ 50. A reception and awards ceremony will take place at the WHYY Studios in Center City Philadelphia. All winning submissions will be screened at the event.
