The Institute: Service-Learning & Civic Engagement

The Institute provides opportunities to examine service-learning models of success, network with service-learning professionals and explore campus-community partnerships.

The 2009 Institute will feature speakers James L. Applegate and Nicole Webster, both of whom are passionate about the role service-learning plays in higher education. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a number of workshops, including discussions about the latest developments in rural service-learning and how to take civic engagement on your campus to the next level.
