The Future of News Media in Philly
What is the state of the current crisis in Philadelphia’s news industry?
Where would you get your local news if the Inquirer and the Daily News ceased to exist?
How has social media already begun to change the way we receive our “news”?
Come learn more from our panel of experts about the dramatic turns Philadelphia’s newspapers have taken in the past few months and what the future holds for media in the City. We will discuss the challenges and changes in disseminating and legitimizing news and discover how new forms of media are affecting the landscape. After the forum, we’ll head over to a nearby bar to continue the conversation and enjoy some drink specials. Bar location TBA.
